Redefining Orthodontics with the Aevo System

If you're undergoing orthodontic treatment, sometimes it can feel like it drags on forever. To help move things along, our dentists can include the Aevo System in your orthodontic treatment plan.

The Aevo System is a dental technology that can be used with traditional wire braces or Invisalign clear aligners to help reduce the overall duration of orthodontic treatment, providing you with results as quickly as possible.

The Aevo System works by applying low-intensity pulsed ultrasound (LIPUS) – a technology that has been used for over 30 years for orthopedic treatments and over a decade for orthodontic treatments – to enhance the body's natural ability to remodel bone.

How Does the Aevo System Work?

The Aevo System helps accelerate your orthodontic treatment and reduces tooth root resorption by delivering low-intensity pulsed ultrasound (LIPUS) waves directly to your alveolar bone, which supports and anchors your teeth.

These ultrasound waves penetrate the gums and reach the tooth roots, stimulating the bone and promoting faster tooth movement.

The ultrasound waves also help prevent orthodontic-induced tooth root resorption to help preserve the integrity of the tooth roots and promote long-term oral health.

Each Aevo System is tailored to your specific orthodontic needs and programmed with settings for optimal ultrasound intensity and frequency

How Do I Use the Aevo System?

The Aevo System is non-invasive and easy to use at home or on the go. The device is placed over your teeth and braces – or clear aligners – daily throughout your orthodontic treatment.

To use the Aevo System, you apply Oral Ultrasound Gel to the mouthpiece, place the device in your mouth over your wire braces or clear aligners, turn on the Aevo System and relax during the 20-minute treatment. A beep will notify you when your treatment is complete.

After the beep, the system turns off, then you remove the mouthpiece, rinse out any excess ultrasound gel and return your system to its charging & storage case. That’s it: you’re done until tomorrow!
