Dr. Chang Chen is a General Dentist at Pleasant Valley Dental in Vernon
Meet Dr. Chang Chen, a dedicated and experienced General Dentist. Originally from Calgary, Alberta, Dr. Chen returned to Canada after graduating with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from University College Cork in Ireland. She spent four wonderful years immersed in clinical training, but also in Irish culture, rain, and more cups of tea than she can count. Her time abroad gave her a global perspective on patient care and she is committed to a well-rounded and patient-centered approach to oral health.
Dr. Chen is thrilled to be settling in beautiful Vernon, BC, and is looking forward to building lasting relationships with her patients and the community. She takes pride in gentle chair side manner and prioritizes a calm and welcoming experience for patients. Passionate about all aspects of general dentistry, Dr. Chen also stays committed to continuous education. She is excited about a lifetime of learning and growing with her patients.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Chen is an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys skiing, snowboarding, hiking, and biking. When she's not out exploring the mountains, you’ll likely find her on the badminton court, skating rink, or curled up with a good book. She could not be happier to be joining the team at PVD and to call the Okanagan home!
